A Beginner’s Guide to Turning Advertising Leads Into an Ongoing Conversation

Reading Time: 9–11 Minutes

In the previous articles, you learned how to create a WinVest capture page and where you can build and host it.

Now someone visits your page and enters their name and email address.

What happens next?

This is where your follow-up system begins.

Many prospects will not register for WinVest the first time they see it. They may be interested but still have questions. They may want to understand Bitcoin better. They may get distracted and intend to return later.

If you have captured their email address—with permission to follow up—you have an opportunity to continue helping them learn.

The basic process is:

Advertising → Capture Page → Lead → Follow-Up → Education → Decision

This guide will show you how to create a simple system without turning it into a complicated marketing operation.

What Is a Lead?

A lead is someone who has expressed interest in what you’re promoting and has provided contact information so they can receive additional information.

For example:

Mary sees your WinVest advertisement.

Mary visits your capture page.

Mary enters her first name and email address.

Mary is now a lead.

She has not necessarily registered for WinVest or made an investment.

She has simply raised her hand and said:

“I’m interested enough to learn more.”

That’s an important distinction.

Your job now isn’t to pressure Mary into investing.

It’s to give her the information she requested and help her decide whether WinVest is right for her.

Step 1: Decide Where Your Leads Will Be Stored

When someone completes your capture form, their information needs to be saved somewhere.

This is usually handled by an email marketing service, sometimes called an:

• Autoresponder

• Email list manager

• Email marketing platform

Some capture-page systems already include this.

For example, depending on the service you choose, your page builder may have a built-in email list or connect to an outside email service.

The important thing is that you know:

Where did this person’s information go?

Before advertising your capture page, test it yourself.

Enter your own name and email address.

Then verify that your information appears in the correct list.

Step 2: Create a Separate WinVest Prospect List

If your email service allows it, create a dedicated list, group, tag, or audience for your WinVest prospects.

You might call it:

WinVest Information Requests

or:

WinVest Prospects

This keeps your WinVest leads separate from people who joined other lists for unrelated reasons.

That’s important because someone who requested information about WinVest should receive WinVest-related information, not automatically be added to every marketing list you operate.

Good list organization also makes future follow-up much easier.

Step 3: Make Sure the Prospect Knows What They’re Signing Up For

Your capture page should clearly explain what will happen when someone enters their email address.

For example:

Enter your name and email address to receive beginner-friendly information about WinVest and occasional follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Keep the wording clear and easy to understand.

Don’t hide email permission inside confusing language.

The prospect should understand that submitting the form means you will send them the information they requested and may follow up with additional WinVest information.

Step 4: Send the Information Immediately

Someone who asks for information should not have to wait until tomorrow for you to manually email them.

Ideally, your system should send the first message automatically.

The first email can be very simple.

Example Subject:

Here’s the WinVest Information You Requested

Example Message:

Hi Mary,

Thanks for requesting information about WinVest.

If you’re completely new to the platform, I recommend starting with the beginner information first. It will help you understand how WinVest works before you make any decisions.

Start Here: Investor Success Center

Take your time going through the information.

If you have any questions, simply reply to this email and I’ll be happy to help.

Best regards,

Terry Burns

The purpose of this email isn’t to sell.

It’s to deliver what you promised.

Step 5: Decide Where to Send the Prospect

After someone submits your capture form, you can normally redirect them to another webpage.

There are several possibilities.

Option 1 — Investor Success Center

This can be an excellent destination for someone who needs education.

They can learn about:

• How WinVest works

• Getting started

• Bitcoin

• Investments

• Withdrawals

• Reinvestment

• Security

• Frequently asked questions

This gives the prospect somewhere to learn at their own pace.

Option 2 — WinVest Presentation Page

If you have a presentation designed for prospects, you could send them there first.

Option 3 — Your WinVest Referral Page

If the prospect has already received enough information to understand what they’re considering, you can provide your registration link.

Option 4 — A Thank-You Page

You can create a simple page saying:

Thanks! Check your email for the information you requested.

You can also provide a link to additional information on that page.

Step 6: Don’t Try to Explain Everything in Email #1

This is a common beginner mistake.

Someone requests information and immediately receives an enormous email explaining every aspect of WinVest.

That’s unnecessary.

Think of follow-up as a conversation.

Each email should answer one important question.

For example:

Email 1: Here’s the information you requested.

Email 2: What exactly is WinVest?

Email 3: How does the 60-day investment work?

Email 4: Why does WinVest use Bitcoin?

Email 5: What happens after you invest?

Email 6: What does reinvesting mean?

Email 7: Still have questions?

That’s much easier to digest.

A Simple 7-Email WinVest Follow-Up Sequence

You don’t need dozens of emails.

A beginner can start with seven.

Email 1 — Immediately

Here’s the WinVest Information You Requested

Welcome the prospect.

Give them the information they requested.

Direct them to the beginner material.

Invite questions.

Email 2 — Day 2

What Exactly Is WinVest?

Give a simple explanation of the platform.

Don’t overwhelm them with technical details.

Then link them to the appropriate Investor Success Center article for more information.

Email 3 — Day 3

How Does the 60-Day Plan Work?

Explain the basic investment structure.

Cover the important points clearly and accurately.

Then provide a link where they can read the complete explanation.

Email 4 — Day 5

New to Bitcoin? Don’t Let That Stop You

Some prospects may like the concept of WinVest but feel intimidated by Bitcoin.

Explain that they don’t need to become cryptocurrency experts.

Direct them to the beginner Bitcoin information in the Crypto Academy.

Email 5 — Day 7

Withdraw or Reinvest?

Introduce the concept that members can make decisions about available earnings according to their own goals.

Explain that some members choose to withdraw while others may use available funds toward additional investments.

Avoid suggesting that one strategy guarantees better results.

Direct them to the relevant educational and planning resources.

Email 6 — Day 10

You Don’t Have to Start Big

Remind prospects that they should never invest more than they’re comfortable risking.

If the current WinVest minimum is $10, you can explain that starting small may allow someone to become familiar with the platform before deciding whether they want to do more.

The message should be:

Learn first. Start according to your comfort level.

Not:

Invest more to make more money.

Email 7 — Day 14

Still Have Questions About WinVest?

This should be a personal-feeling email.

Something as simple as:

Hi Mary,

I’ve sent you quite a bit of information about WinVest over the past couple of weeks.

Rather than send you another explanation, I wanted to ask:

Is there anything about WinVest that you still don’t understand?

Just reply to this email and let me know.

I’ll be happy to help.

Terry

Sometimes the most effective follow-up isn’t another promotion.

It’s a question.

Why Space the Emails Out?

You don’t need to email someone three times a day.

You also don’t want them to forget why they joined your list.

A reasonable beginner sequence might look like:

Day 0 → Day 2 → Day 3 → Day 5 → Day 7 → Day 10 → Day 14

After that, you can reduce the frequency.

The objective is to remain helpful without becoming annoying.

What Is an Autoresponder?

An autoresponder automatically sends emails according to a schedule you create.

For example:

Mary joins today.

She receives Email 1 immediately.

John joins next Tuesday.

John receives the same Email 1 immediately.

Each person begins the sequence based on the date they joined.

You don’t have to remember when to send every message manually.

This is one reason an autoresponder can become valuable as your advertising grows.

Do You Need an Autoresponder?

Not necessarily at first.

If you’re generating only a few leads, you can follow up manually.

In fact, personal emails can work very well.

But imagine you’re eventually generating:

5 leads per day.

That’s approximately 150 new leads in a month.

Manual follow-up becomes much harder.

An autoresponder handles the basic education automatically while still allowing you to personally answer replies and questions.

Automation Shouldn’t Replace You

This is important.

The purpose of automation isn’t to eliminate personal communication.

It’s to handle repetitive tasks.

Your system can automatically:

Deliver information

Explain basic concepts

Provide helpful links

Send reminders

But when someone replies with:

“I don’t understand how to buy Bitcoin.”

That’s where personal assistance becomes valuable.

Automation handles the routine information.

You handle the conversation.

Use the Investor Success Center Instead of Rewriting Everything

You don’t need to write a 1,500-word explanation inside every email.

That’s exactly why educational resources are useful.

Your email might say:

One of the questions I hear frequently is how the 60-day investment actually works.

I’ve created a simple explanation that walks through it step by step.

Read: Understanding the WinVest Investment Plan

The email creates interest.

The Investor Success Center provides the detailed education.

This also makes your emails shorter and easier to read.

What If Someone Registers for WinVest?

This is an important point.

Once someone becomes a WinVest member, your prospect follow-up may no longer be appropriate.

If your system allows it, move them from:

WinVest Prospects

to something such as:

WinVest Members

Then they can receive information appropriate for members rather than continuing to receive:

“Have you considered joining WinVest?”

Good list management creates a much better experience.

What If Someone Invests?

The same principle applies.

Someone who has already invested doesn’t need beginner promotional emails encouraging them to make their first investment.

Their needs have changed.

Now they may benefit more from:

• Understanding their dashboard

• Reinvestment education

• Withdrawal information

• Security articles

• Planning tools

• Investment tracking

• Crypto guidance

This is where the Investor Success Center can continue helping after someone becomes active.

Let People Reply to You

Whenever possible, use an email address that people can actually reply to.

Avoid making your follow-up feel like:

DO NOT REPLY — AUTOMATED MESSAGE

WinVest can involve unfamiliar concepts.

People will have questions.

A simple sentence can make a big difference:

Questions? Just reply to this email. I’ll be happy to help.

That turns an automated sequence into the beginning of a real conversation.

Personalize the Emails

Most email marketing services allow you to insert someone’s first name.

Instead of:

Hello,

you can send:

Hello Mary,

Small touches can make automated email feel more personal.

But don’t overdo personalization.

Using someone’s name once or twice is enough.

Always Include an Unsubscribe Option

People must have an easy way to stop receiving marketing emails.

Reputable email marketing platforms generally provide tools for adding an unsubscribe link.

Do not remove or hide it.

A simple footer might say:

You’re receiving this email because you requested information about WinVest. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe below.

If someone asks you directly to stop emailing them, honor the request promptly.

Don’t Add People Who Never Asked for Information

Your capture-page list should contain people who actually requested WinVest information.

Don’t upload random email addresses.

Don’t add everyone in your personal address book.

Don’t purchase a list of thousands of email addresses and add them to your autoresponder.

Permission-based marketing is better for both the prospect and the marketer.

You want people who are genuinely interested.

Be Careful With Purchased Leads

Some advertising companies sell “leads.”

Quality varies enormously.

Before purchasing leads, understand:

• Where the leads came from

• What they actually requested

• Whether they agreed to receive marketing emails

• How recently they expressed interest

• Whether the seller allows you to contact them

A list containing 10,000 email addresses isn’t valuable if those people never asked to hear from you.

Track Where Your Leads Come From

If you’re using several advertising sources, try to identify which source produced each lead.

For example:

Traffic Exchange A — 22 leads

Safelist B — 7 leads

Solo Ad C — 31 leads

Then go further.

How many became WinVest registrations?

How many eventually invested?

The advertising source producing the most leads isn’t necessarily producing the best leads.

We’ll cover this in more detail in How to Track Your Advertising Results.

Keep Your Emails Educational

WinVest follow-up should not become a stream of:

JOIN NOW!

DON’T MISS OUT!

INVEST TODAY!

Instead, answer the questions prospects are probably already asking.

For example:

What is WinVest?

How does the investment work?

Why Bitcoin?

How do I buy Bitcoin?

What happens after 60 days?

Can I withdraw earnings?

How does reinvesting work?

Helpful information gives prospects a reason to continue opening your emails.

Avoid Earnings Promises

Never tell a prospect that they will earn a specific amount simply because they join or invest.

Avoid statements such as:

❌ “You’ll make $500 per month.”

❌ “This will replace your income.”

❌ “Guaranteed passive income.”

❌ “You can’t lose.”

❌ “Invest $100 and you’ll have $_____.”

You can explain how WinVest works.

You can explain your own experience when appropriate.

You can provide educational tools.

But the prospect should understand that investment results are not guaranteed.

Your Simple Follow-Up System

You can now put the entire process together.

Step 1

Create an advertisement.

Step 2

Send the visitor to your capture page.

Step 3

Collect their name and email with permission.

Step 4

Store the lead in your WinVest prospect list.

Step 5

Immediately provide the information they requested.

Step 6

Send several helpful follow-up emails.

Step 7

Invite questions and personally respond when appropriate.

Step 8

If they register or invest, move them into the appropriate member communication.

That’s a complete beginner follow-up system.

Follow-Up System Checklist

Before sending traffic to your capture page, make sure:

☐ My form works.

☐ I know where the leads are stored.

☐ The prospect understands what they’re signing up to receive.

☐ My first email is ready.

☐ The information promised on the capture page is delivered.

☐ My follow-up messages are helpful rather than overly promotional.

☐ People can reply to me.

☐ Every marketing email has an unsubscribe option.

☐ I have tested the entire process myself.

☐ I know what happens when someone registers.

☐ I know what happens when someone asks to stop receiving emails.

Once you’ve tested all of those pieces, you’re ready to begin sending traffic.

Test Everything Yourself First

This may be the most important technical step in this article.

Before spending money on advertising:

Use a different email address and go through your system exactly as a prospect would.

Click your advertisement.

Visit the capture page.

Enter your information.

Submit the form.

Check the next page.

Open the email.

Click every link.

Check the unsubscribe process.

If something doesn’t work for you, it won’t work for your prospects either.

Fix problems before paying for traffic.

Final Thoughts

A follow-up system doesn’t need to be complicated.

You don’t need 50 emails.

You don’t need expensive automation software.

You don’t need to contact prospects every day forever.

Start with a simple process:

Capture → Deliver → Educate → Answer Questions → Follow Up

The most important thing is remembering that every email address represents a real person who asked to learn more.

Treat them accordingly.

Provide useful information.

Answer their questions.

Give them time to make their own decision.

And let your follow-up system handle the repetitive education while you concentrate on the personal conversations that matter most.
