Using Your Account Balance to Create Additional Investments
Reading Time: 7 Minutes
Difficulty: π’ Beginner
Lesson 10 of 12
One feature available to WinVest investors is the ability to use eligible funds already available within their account to create additional investments.
This process is known as reinvesting.
Instead of withdrawing eligible funds to your personal Bitcoin wallet, you may choose to use funds from your WinVest Account Balance to create another investment, subject to the current investment plan and platform rules.
Reinvesting can be a convenient way to create additional investments without purchasing and transferring new Bitcoin each time.
However, it’s important to understand one key concept:
Every reinvestment creates a new, separate investment with its own investment cycle.
π‘ What You’ll Learn
After reading this guide, you’ll understand:
β What reinvesting means
β How your Account Balance relates to reinvesting
β How to create another investment using eligible funds
β Why every reinvestment creates a separate investment cycle
β How reinvesting differs from withdrawing
β How reinvesting can affect the funds available for withdrawal
β What to consider before deciding to reinvest
π What Is Reinvesting?
Reinvesting means using eligible funds available in your WinVest Account Balance to create another investment.
Instead of:
Withdrawing funds β Receiving Bitcoin β Sending Bitcoin back to WinVest
you may be able to use your eligible Account Balance directly as the funding source for a new investment.
This can make the process of creating additional investments more convenient.
π Important
Reinvesting does not add funds to or extend your original investment.
Every reinvestment creates a completely separate investment with its own:
β Investment amount
β Start date
β Investment cycle
β Daily earnings
β Completion date
π° Understanding Your Account Balance
Your Account Balance represents eligible funds currently available within your WinVest account according to the platform’s rules.
Depending on the options available, these funds may generally be used to:
β Create another investment
or
β Request a withdrawal
New investors may initially see an Account Balance of $0.
This can be completely normal until eligible funds become available within the account.
Your Account Balance should not be confused with the funds currently committed to your active investments.
Funds used to create an active investment are part of that investment’s cycle and are not simply sitting in your Account Balance available for withdrawal or reinvestment.
For additional information, see Understanding Your Dashboard.
π οΈ How to Reinvest Using Your Account Balance
Once you have sufficient eligible funds available in your Account Balance, the general reinvestment process is:
- Log in to your WinVest account.
- Open Make an Investment from the navigation menu.
- Review the current investment plan.
- Select the applicable investment plan.
- Choose Account Balance as your funding source, if available.
- Enter the amount you want to invest.
- Review the investment information carefully.
- Submit your new investment.
When funding an investment entirely from eligible funds already available in your Account Balance, you don’t need to purchase and send additional Bitcoin from an external wallet or exchange.
Always follow the current instructions displayed within your WinVest account.
ποΈ Every Investment Has Its Own Timeline
This is one of the most important concepts to understand about reinvesting.
Each investment you create is tracked separately.
For example, suppose you create:
Investment #1 β Today
Investment #2 β Next Week
Investment #3 β Next Month
Each investment will have its own:
β Start date
β Investment amount
β 60-day investment period under the current plan
β Daily earnings
β Completion date
This means you may eventually have several investments operating at the same time but at different stages of their individual investment cycles.
Your Active Investments area allows you to monitor these investments separately.
π‘ Want to Understand the Bigger Picture?
This lesson focuses on the practical process of reinvesting.
The Knowledge Base article Understanding Reinvesting & Compounding provides a deeper explanation of:
β Why investors may choose to reinvest
β How multiple 60-day investments can overlap
β How reinvesting can create a compounding effect
β Why frequent reinvesting can result in many separate active investments
β How reinvesting can affect the amount of money available for withdrawal
If you plan to reinvest regularly, we recommend reading Understanding Reinvesting & Compounding after completing the Investment Academy.
βοΈ Reinvesting vs. Withdrawing
When eligible funds are available in your Account Balance, you may have a choice between reinvesting and withdrawing.
π Reinvest
Reinvesting uses eligible Account Balance funds to create another investment.
Potential reasons someone might choose to reinvest include:
β Creating additional investments
β Keeping eligible funds invested within the platform
β Avoiding the need to purchase and transfer additional Bitcoin
β Building multiple investment cycles over time
Remember that once Account Balance funds are used to create a new investment, those funds are committed to the new investment cycle and are no longer sitting in your Account Balance available for withdrawal.
πΈ Withdraw
Withdrawing sends eligible funds from your WinVest account to your Bitcoin wallet according to the platform’s current withdrawal procedures.
Potential reasons someone might choose to withdraw include:
β Accessing eligible funds outside the platform
β Converting Bitcoin for other uses
β Reducing the amount kept within the investment platform
β Balancing reinvestment with taking money out
For step-by-step instructions, see Requesting a Withdrawal.
π Can You Reinvest and Withdraw?
Yes.
You don’t necessarily have to choose one approach forever.
Depending on your available balance and the platform’s current rules, you may decide to:
β Reinvest eligible funds
β Withdraw eligible funds
β Use a combination of reinvesting and withdrawing
There is no single strategy that’s appropriate for everyone.
Your decision should be based on your own financial circumstances, goals, and tolerance for risk.
π How Does Reinvesting Create a Compounding Effect?
Compounding occurs when earnings are used to create additional investments that can then generate their own earnings.
For example:
Original Investment
β
Generates eligible funds
β
Some funds are reinvested
β
A new investment is created
β
The new investment generates its own earnings
β
Eligible funds may later be reinvested again
Over time, this process can result in multiple investments generating earnings simultaneously.
However, WinVest compounding should not be thought of as simply adding earnings back into one original investment.
Instead, the compounding effect occurs through the creation of multiple separate investments, each with its own investment cycle.
For a complete explanation, see Understanding Reinvesting & Compounding.
π΅ How Reinvesting Affects Withdrawals
This is an important point that can sometimes confuse new investors.
Suppose eligible funds become available in your Account Balance.
If you withdraw those funds, they are sent to your Bitcoin wallet.
If you reinvest those funds, they are used to create another investment.
Once reinvested, those funds are no longer sitting in your Account Balance available for immediate withdrawal. They are now committed to the new investment cycle.
This means that an investor who continually reinvests most or all eligible funds may have a growing number of active investments while maintaining a relatively small Account Balance available for withdrawal.
This does not necessarily mean the funds have disappeared. It means they have been used to create additional active investments.
π Investor Insight
Reinvesting can increase the amount you have working across multiple investments, but it can also reduce the amount currently available to withdraw.
Understanding this tradeoff is essential when deciding how much to reinvest and how much to withdraw.
β Common Questions
Do I have to reinvest?
No.
Reinvesting is optional.
You can choose whether to reinvest eligible funds, withdraw eligible funds, or use a combination of both.
Does reinvesting increase my original investment?
No.
Reinvesting creates a new, separate investment.
Your original investment continues according to its own timeline.
Does every reinvestment start another 60-day cycle?
Under the current investment plan, each new investment begins its own 60-day investment cycle.
Why can’t I select Account Balance as my funding source?
If Account Balance isn’t available as a funding option, you may not currently have sufficient eligible funds available to create the investment.
Review your Account Balance and the current minimum investment requirements.
Do I need to buy more Bitcoin to reinvest?
Not when you’re funding the entire new investment using sufficient eligible funds from your Account Balance.
If you’re creating a new investment with funds from outside WinVest, you’ll need to follow the current Bitcoin funding process.
If I reinvest everything, will I have money available to withdraw?
Continually reinvesting eligible Account Balance funds can reduce the amount remaining immediately available for withdrawal because those funds are being used to create new investments.
This is why some investors may choose a combination of reinvesting and withdrawing rather than reinvesting everything.
What happens when one of my investments reaches Day 60?
That individual investment completes its investment cycle and stops generating daily earnings.
Any other investments you created at later dates continue according to their own individual timelines.
β οΈ Things to Consider Before Reinvesting
Before creating another investment, consider:
β Do I understand the current investment plan?
β Am I comfortable committing these funds to another investment cycle?
β Do I want to keep some funds available for withdrawal?
β How many active investments do I currently have?
β Do I understand when my existing investments are scheduled to complete?
β Does reinvesting fit my personal financial circumstances and risk tolerance?
There is no single “correct” reinvestment strategy for everyone.
π‘ Why WinVest Offers Reinvestment
Allowing eligible Account Balance funds to be used to create additional investments streamlines the process for investors who choose to continue investing.
Without this option, an investor might otherwise need to withdraw eligible funds to a Bitcoin wallet and then send Bitcoin back to fund another investment.
Using eligible Account Balance funds allows the new investment to be created directly within the platform, subject to current plan rules.
π Investor Tips
β Remember that every reinvestment creates a new investment with its own timeline.
β Check your Account Balance before creating another investment.
β Monitor your investments through Active Investments.
β Review the Current Investment Plan before reinvesting.
β Don’t assume reinvested funds remain available for immediate withdrawal.
β Consider whether you want to reinvest everything or keep some eligible funds available for withdrawal.
β Don’t feel pressured to reinvest simply because the option is available.
β Read Understanding Reinvesting & Compounding for a deeper explanation before developing a regular reinvestment strategy.
